Check out this brilliant beauty tip I learned from the fab make-up artist at Fox5’s “Good Day New York”: for instant height and volume, forget teasing and try — stay with me here — “camouflage crimping.” Take a mini crimper and crimp the under layers of your hair at the roots all around the top of your head. You’ll get amazing lift and movement, and there’s no tell-tale 80s evidence because the teeny crimps are camouflaged by the top layer of your locks. I shared the tip with my make-up artist Kerry Lou Brehm, and she recreated the effect for today’s TBS “Movie & A Makeover” shoot in NYC at Victoria’s Secret.
